Our Vision

Our vision is to create a sustainable business model that not only delivers exceptional value and cultivates the highest standards of integrity and cooperation among our employees, customers, suppliers, and the wider community.

We strive to lead by example, driving positive environmental and social change through every aspect of our operations.

Our Journey

In 2018, we developed and tested our initial proof of concept model. We were honored to be selected for an exhibition at the African Youth Innovation Summit in Kigali, Rwanda. Additionally, we received a proof of concept grant from UNDP in Ethiopia and successfully completed our first domestic model, capable of processing up to 6 kilograms of plastic waste per batch

In 2019, we were chosen to participate in the Leaders in Innovation Fellowship program by the Royal Academy of Engineering in the UK and secured a commercialization grant from the Kenya Innovation Agency.

By 2020, we finalized the construction of our commercially viable processor and officially registered Pyro-degrade Energy.

In 2021, we achieved recognition by winning the Fahari Innovation Challenge in the Sustainability Category, awarded by Kenya Airways.

In 2022, we initiated the establishment of necessary structures and began applying for government approvals to set up a plant for Kenya Airways. We also reached the finals of the University of Venice Sustainability Innovation Accelerator and had our Pyro-diesel product tested by SGS and KIRDI labs for comparison with conventional diesel.

In 2023, we were featured in a global article highlighting emission reduction technology trends. Our Kenya Airways plant received official approval from NEMA and EPRA to produce Pyro-diesel, and we commenced construction of the facility. Notably, we had the opportunity to present our work to King Charles III during his royal visit to Kenya.

By 2024, we continued the construction of our Kenya Airways plant, which was commissioned in October.
